Born Free To Run Team Continues to shine.

The Born Free To Run team competed in the first Phuket Night Run atound Phuket Old Town.

 Two youth athletes from Born Free To Run team, under the siupervision of coach Ricky, competed in the 31st Natinal Youth Games(Selection round for four southern provinces) at Trang province. Yut raced in the 800m and 1,500m. Sje was the runner up of both distances and is now qualified to compete at the Thailand Natinal Youth Games 2015 at Chanhaburi province 16-27 March 2015. Yut is 13 years old and was just beaten by a 17year old.

More Trophies For Born Free To Run Team

The Phuket Community Foundation sponsored Born Free To Run Team had a month of successes during August. They won more than twenty trophies in the Patong, Cherng Talay and Rassada races. Ricky, the coach also won the Duathlon race at Hua Hin. The team wore their running shirts sponsored by PCF and Thanyapura.

Born Free To Run has a new team member, Dom. He is 14  and he has a gift for running. He and Yut will go to race as Phuket athletes at the regional race in Trang this October. If their results are in top 3, they will be eligible to attend in national-level races later.

More Triumphs For Born Free To Run

The Born Free To Run team continues to win many trophies in local events. In the Laguna Phuket International Marathon on June 8th Ricky Phanthip came first in his category and the young athlete, Yut, came first in the kids run. All of the team members did well and those who ran the full 42 km marathon for the first time finished in under 4hrs.

The team wore new running vests sponsored by PCF and Thanyapura.  The vests are also for sale and the proceeds will go to support the team in future events and training the youth athletes for the Olympics. Anyone who would like to buy a

Love is in the air for Born Free To Run couple,Kiranee and her boyfriend Kerati. After running the 42 Km Marathon at Laguna Phuket and moments after crossing the finishing line, Kerati went down on one knee and proposed to Kiranee in front of friends and supporters. Kerati had carried the ring all the way along the 42 km.

 Four of the Born Free athletes have qualified for the  Triathlon Association of Thailand’s youth team. Keng and Yut have been chosen to train for the Youth Olympics.

 Both Yut and Keng won their races at the recent Neon Night Run at Thanyapura.

Born Free To Run Team Wins More Trophies

The Born Free To Run team has continued to win trophies in all the races they compete. They won a total of 10 trophies in the Phuket International Hospital Minimarathon on February 23rd.


 On March 8th the team took part in the Thanyapura Superkidz Triathlon races. They won 4 trophies.


 On March 9th. the team won 9 trophies in the Plukpanya Minimarathon.

Also on  March 9th some of the team took part in the  2014: 5th Thalang Victory Mini Marathon, winning 4 trophies.

 In the 2014: 5th Thalang Victory Mini Mountain Bike 16 km race the winner of the  girls under 15 y/o. was Yut,  who is 12 years old and is doing very well with the bike races.  She was part of the team that won Superkidz on Saturday March 8th.  Her performance was outstanding.

Born Free To Run Club Displays Trophies

The Born Free To Run running club displayed all the trophies won by the team in the last 6 months. An impressive array was set up at Tala beach in the Pakhlok district, home of most of the members of the team.
