On their recent holiday in Phuket from Australia, Joylene and Terry Muller brought a variety of toys and souvenirs to delight the children from Ban Bangkoo School. The Phuket Community Foundation would like to say a huge Thank You to Joylene and Terry for their kind gesture. Toy Library Donation

Theo McIntyre, a student at the British International School Phuket, decided for his tenth birthday party to ask his friends to bring a toy for the PCF toy libraries instead of a present for himself. He also collected 2,500 bahts as a donation to buy more toys on the toy library “wish list”.

Theo and his mother hand over the toys to Cindy Ratcliffe, Manager of the PCF.

New Toy Library Set To Open November 7th.

The Phuket Community Foundation will be opening a new toy library at Kaeharassada Credit Union, 68/901 Srisutat Rd. on November 7th.

If you have any toys that you dont want any more then please donate them to the PCF toy library project. Many children do not have any toys at home because their parents cannot afford them. Our toy libraries around Phuket have been immensely popular with children in rural schools and have given great pleasure to them. Toys are a wonderful way to help children develop their imaginations and social skills as well as a fun way to learn. We would love to have some new toys too.

Please contact Cindy Ratcliffe on 0887680650 if you would like to donate a toy to this project.

Toys are also being collected at Gecko School in Thalang, Phuket International Academy, British International School and Club Asia Fitness Centre at Royal Phuket City Hotel.
