Which way's the finish line?
It’s taken a while for us to add it all up, but here are the final numbers for PCF Race Day, which, of course, incorporated Phuket’s first Rubber Duck Race.
- Estimated number of visitors throughout the day: 800
- Duck Race tickets sold: 1,000 (in other words, all of them).
- Net cash expenditure: B152,054
- Net cash income: B292,368
- Net cash gain: B140,314
- Total gifts in kind: B663,200
- Total gain in cash and in kind: B803,514

Once again, our wholehearted thanks to all sponsors and to all those who came along to make the day such a success. We have since held a debriefing meeting to examine mistakes we made (there were plenty of them) and see how we can improve on organisation to ensure that the 2010 event will be even bigger and better.
