Third toy library opened
Phuket Vice Governor Samith Palawatvichai snipped the ribbon this afternoon to open the third toy library organised by the Phuket Community Foundation, at Wat Muang Mai School in the north of the island. (Scroll down for picture gallery.)
Our thanks once again to our contributors both in Phuket and abroad. In this case they are:
- Jamras Pitikulstahit (Phuket Southern Group/Chester’s Grill): B100,000
- The Phuket Direct Fund Association of Switzerland, which has provided funding for the library program in general, in this case for bins and racks to store toys and books;
- Sarah Finnegan and Barry Murphy of Ireland: B7,050 for books;
- Paul Hurlow of Drumwell, Hong Kong: Toys;
- Dr Ong Tat Lien of Penang: English-language children’s books;
- The Books, Phuket Town: Children’s books;
- Phuket International Hospital: MC and puppet show.
